Minda watched as the smoke from her mouth dissipated into the thick cold atmosphere. She never was much of a smoker, but tonight she had a lot on her mind. The days events playing over and over, not seeming to grow any clearer. They almost never do. Bringing the small paper tube to her lips, Minda takes a long drag and looks out over the street below, her face lightly illuminated by the soft warm glow of the cigarette, her throat and lungs burning from the lack of habit... she exhales heavily. Blowing smoke out into the city air Minda shifts her weight off the edge of the railing, her feet lightly touching the patio cement.
